BEGIN WITH BOOKS is the Charleston County's affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. BEGIN WITH BOOKS is an all-volunteer organization currently serving 11 communities in Charleston County. We are shipping over 2,850 books per month directly to the homes of children.

Helping Hands Touching Hearts Charity
In May, Sidney Bonvallet, president of Helping Hands Touching Hearts Charity(HHTH), and Izabela Jaworska,a professional competitive dancer, will walk the 500-mile El Camino Trail for HHTH. Sidney, 73-years old, and Isabella, almost 50-years old, will walk for 38 days to raise funds to empower impoverished people through sustainability with education, health and hope.
Stones Across America
Beginning March 30, 2014, Bob Stohner will be cycling the Atlantic Coast Route from Boca Raton, FL to Bar Harbor, ME. Bob's doing this to raise memorial funds for both college scholarships and the Idaho Education Association’s Children’s Fund in honor the memory of five friends: John Perkins, Joe Pilch, Ed Helies, Dan Bither, and Cindy Herron.
